How We Built a Platform to Connect Teachers with STEM Experts

The Davidson Institute, the educational branch of the Weizmann Institute of Science, approached us to create a new website and system to facilitate these interactions. The goal was to extend students' learning experiences beyond the classroom, enriching their education through innovative and complex video conferencing arrangements.

Innovative Design Tailored to the Institute's Brand Language

Having understood the language of all three user segments, we designed a user experience tailored to their distinct processes, both on desktop and mobile platforms. We emphasized layout planning, element placement for easy appointment scheduling and expert searches in the database, improved the navigation structure, and organized content to ensure clarity and reduce complexity. Regarding responsiveness, we addressed a variety of devices to provide essential features for each device.

Comprehensive Technological Profiling

We conducted a comprehensive technological profiling survey to understand the behaviors required for end-users, as well as the tools and features that administrators needed to control server-side operations. We built both the front-end and back-end components of the website and developed a complex database structure while maintaining clean and optimized code. We employed advanced technologies to enable seamless integration with external systems and services.
