Interaction Design

Definition:

Interaction design is the process of creating interactive digital products with an eye toward how users will interact with them.

Information:

Interaction design can be understood in simple (but not simplistic) terms: it is the design of how a product interacts with its users. In most cases, when people talk about interaction design, they are usually referring to software products like websites or apps. The interactive design aims to create products that enable the user to accomplish their objective(s) as effectively as possible. An interaction between a user and a product can involve elements such as motion, aesthetics, space, sound, and many others. In addition, each of these elements can involve other disciplines, such as sound design for crafting sounds that are used during user interaction.
